post 3 of "The Gunslinger"

My essay is not complete. everything else is done and i have a good headstart on my essay. I have so far completed my introduction and syntax.i still have the rhetoric, annotations, literary elements, conclusion, and summary. unfortunately I have procrastinated and it seems I will have to turn my essay in a day late. but I will do my best on the essay and will try hardest to get the best grade I can for turning it in a day late.

post 2 of "The Gunslinger"

I plan to present the information for my book with my project by using the backs of tarot cards. there are seven tarot cards each will have information for my project with it. The cards are called the hanged man, the sailor, the prisoner (a baboon holding a man captive), the lady of the shadows, death, the tower, and life. each of these seven cards hold a great meaning to not necessarily the book, because they show at the end, but for the series and the rest of Roland's tales. The cards will be in a pile and will have each of the required subjects for me to say on them.

For my project I plan to make a tower. The tower will be made out of a carpet roll and a rubber pool noodle along with other material for added detail. The landscape will be made out of Styrofoam as well as the mineshaft.  The tower is mentioned at the end of the book when Roland catches up to the man in black and he tells Roland of his mission to find this dark tower. The mine cart is because Roland makes a decision at the climax, which takes place in a mineshaft.
